Senator Bernie Sanders has just accused Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg of “stop and frisk.”

Senator Elizabeth Warren accuses Michael Bloomberg of misogynistic comments.

Multiple Candidates are now attacking Former Mayor Bloomberg.

Senator Bernie Sanders attacks Mayor Pete Buttigieg of numerous billionaire donations.

Senator Amy Klobuchar said, “We can nominate a woman.” This was referring to ending sexism on the internet.

Mayor Bloomberg contradicts accusations from Former Vice President Joe Biden that he called Obamacare a “disgrace.”  However, according to a little research, the following news organizations confirm it:

CNN- https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/16/politics/kfile-bloomberg-called-obamacare-a-disgrace/index.html

Politcalwire- https://politicalwire.com/2020/02/16/bloomberg-called-obamacare-a-disgrace/

And also by Washington Post reporter Josh Rogin who also confirmed with another CNN article. https://twitter.com/joshrogin/status/1230318590689193984  https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/16/politics/kfile-bloomberg-called-obamacare-a-disgrace/index.html

Senator Elizabeth Warren accuses Michael Bloomberg of non-disclosure agreements. Bloomberg says he will not release non-disclosure agreements.  In my opinion, the opening of the debate was intense and chaotic.

Updates coming soon…

Candidates are now making there closing statements. The debate is approaching the conclusion and there will be coverage on the podcast this Friday, followed by a special coverage on the Nevada Caucasus on Saturday, February 22, 2020.  Thanks for reading!

Political Courage

Mitt RomneyWritten by Jeremiah Patterson 9:33 PM February 07, 2020

Courage is the ability to do something that intimidates others.  I’m not talking about the courage to save someone from violence or the courage to speak up when someone is actively and conspicuously being bullied.  Although those things are essential, I’m talking about political courage.  The ability to put country over party, and accept the ramifications.  I’m writing to discuss do politicians have the courage and the ability to do something so galvanizing that intimidates their colleagues?

Before I tell you about the courage in current politics, let’s analyze the historical background here.  According to history, Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglas, Abraham Lincoln, and many other historical figures have shown courage.  Nevertheless, Thomas Railsback showed political courage as well.  In the midst of Nixon’s corruption, Thomas Railsback said, “In my opinion, Richard Nixon has done many wonderful things for his country.”  Congressman Railsback was also Richard Nixon’s friend, but also a big believer in the Constitution.

According to an article from The New York Times, Tom Railsback, Who Reconciled G.O.P. to Oust Nixon, Dies at 87, “the president appeared to have violated by withholding evidence from Congress and, even more, by implicating himself in a cover-up in conversations recorded on White House tapes, which the courts had ordered the administration to release.”

Congressman Railsback’s, pivotal vote provoked rancorous reactions from some of his constituents.  The Journal Star of Peoria declared Thomas Railsback as a “dead duck”.  Despite the vitriolic reactions, he received a standing ovation from a local chamber of commerce and was re-elected to four more terms.  So, doing the right thing is paramount and will be analyzed by others.  It goes down in history as courageous and equitable.

If more politicians show courageous effort, rather than being reluctant to put country over party, then the United States will be a better country because they did so.  Reluctance is not equitable to the American people, the courage that is indicated will be analyzed and studied by future students for many generations.  The same political courage that Congressman Railsback took during the Watergate Scandal, is the same political courage that Senator Mitt Romney showed this week.

Senator Mitt Romeny voted to convict President Donald Trump, which means he found him guilty on Abuse of Power.  In December, The House of Representatives indicated two articles of impeachment against the President.  Including Article 1: Abuse of Power and Article 2: Obstruction of Congress.

If you did not see Senator Romney’s speech, here it is…

This was a remarkable and historic speech, that indicated faith, and a Constitutional obligation to convict an impeached President.  This speech will go down in history as an indication of political courage.  So, will senators and politicians years from now be able to do something audaciously when others may be intimidated?

‘Collusion!’

Is it true that the President of the United States colluded with a foreign power in the middle of an election?  What else is in Robert Mueller’s Report? Great Question.

Here’s what we do know,

  • Paul Manafort pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges
  • Michel Cohen pleaded guilty for lying to Congress
  • Secret Trump Tower Meeting
  • Maria Butina in Jail, Alleged Russia Spy Agent

This is what we know so for, it just depend on what we do with it! So what else is in Robert Mueller’s Report?
